Keys To Living a Godly Life"Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Mathew 5:4-10Many of us go through life wishing things could be simpler or easier. People sometimes look back at life in the 1960’s and think 'man things were so much easier then'. The reality is that we live in a much different culture now and we have vastly more decisions and opportunities than people did in the past. But, people are still looking for the keys to living that simpler life today. Would you like to live a simpler life; a life that has fewer worries; less stress and more peace? Who wouldn’t? We can have it and best of all it’s totally free! Some people view the Bible as a set of restrictive rules that dictate how we should live. They are right, but they fail to see the benefits of living life as it was intended. They fail to see that these rules (commandments) are for our own good. There is so much great wisdom and advise on living a peaceful and easy life in the Bible, it’s difficult to know where to start. For some really good practical tips for living the easy life read Proverbs. There’s a whole lot of wisdom in there. As you study and apply God's teachings to your life you will notice a change. Suddenly decisions are much simpler to make, risk is diminished and our life starts to settle and we begin to enjoy peace. No, our life is not magicaly made perfect and we still have trials to face. But, not nearly as much as others do and when the bad times come, we are better prepared to deal with it. Click here to send comments to the webmaster.
